Worship with Us

The Central Focus of our Sunday Worship is God, through His Word
We believe the written Word of God is as true and as applicable to us the moment we read it, sing it or hear it, as it was the moment it was inspired by the Holy Spirit to be written down. So God’s word leads us into worship, gives us the content of our worship and consummates our worship. God’s word gives us the order of our worship service, the content of our songs, the focus of our praise and prayers, the message that strengthens our lives.
The Atmosphere of our Worship is Faith and Adoration
The Scriptures tell us that we are to express ourselves to God through faith, so the worship atmosphere is one that encourages each and every person to trust in the Lord, not at some point, but right now, whether it is when we are singing, praising, praying or hearing the Word preached.
True faith adores the Lord and we express our adoration in song. Our singing is important to us. Because of this we are careful about the songs we use and the style of music. We sing hymns that have withstood the test of time, often not only with their original music, but also with music masterfully composed by contemporary artists. We also sing carefully selected songs written by our contemporaries in a musical style conducive to loving, reverent worship and congregational participation.
